Every Tuesday evening controllers will focus on staffing several of our airports, and as time goes on we hope to increase our coverage and retention in pilot operations. Controllers can sign-up to staff for 1 1/2 or 3 hours, as positions are split into 2 sections.
The objective is to start creating consistency and develop accountability. This will allow the staff to also asses the accountability of our controller membership, and work to increase the about of aircraft operations which is expected to grow with continued consistency in the staffing of ZSE airspace.
